AC Servo Application in Inkjet Printers
时间:2014-09-18
HollySys Motor's MS series fully digital AC servo motors and drivers have been successfully applied in inkjet printing equipment. Their superior performance ensures smooth and precise movement of the print head. The operational results are fully comparable to imported servo systems. Offering a higher cost-performance ratio.

The spray painting industry represents a high-profit margin sector in China's current advertising market, with broad market prospects due to its diverse applications. Advertising requires strong visual impact, yet traditional methods like stencil lettering and fabric banners no longer meet modern societal demands. Spray painting addresses these limitations through more vibrant colors, greater artistic variation, and richer element combinations, making it the preferred choice for many advertisers. To meet domestic market needs, some manufacturers have begun developing proprietary spray painting machines by integrating advanced international technologies.

Spray painting machines are high-efficiency, high-tech, high-value advertising equipment capable of quality control, color adjustment, and design modifications.

The spray painting system comprises three components: an industrial computer, dedicated spray painting controller or control board card, and the spray painting machine bed. Its fundamental working principle involves layout design using specialized software installed on a computer, followed by transferring the layout data to the control board card or controller. This information is then converted into nozzle trajectory and spraying control commands.

The machine bed primarily utilizes servo motors to form an X-Y platform, with the nozzle's two-dimensional movement controlled by pulse signals from the control card. The system includes two Y-axis motors and one X-axis motor. The Y-axis, bearing heavier loads, employs a gantry structure with dual motors operating in opposite directions requiring high synchronization. A reducer and synchronous timing belt assembly drives the gantry movement. The X-axis, located on the gantry, primarily supports the nozzle mechanism.

X and Y-axis mechanisms use grating rulers for real-time feedback on nozzle position and speed. The control card adjusts motor position and rotational speed to ensure precise inkjet trajectory, producing richly colored graphics. Motor stability and repeat accuracy are critical to this motion control process.

Through collaborative efforts with industry clients, our company has successfully implemented Hollysys Motor's full-digital AC servo motors and drivers in spray painting equipment. These motors feature high energy density design and high-performance permanent magnet materials, offering compact size, high torque, efficiency, smooth operation, and low noise. High-resolution encoder feedback ensures exceptional positioning precision.

Superior motor and driver performance guarantees nozzle movement stability and accuracy. Operationally, these systems match imported servo systems in quality while offering significant cost advantages. Hollysys Motor's AC servo systems have received strong client recognition for their practical performance in spray painting applications.
